About the Brand

The New Craftsmen boasts a collection of unique crafted objects, which are curated, commissioned and sold across the British Isles.

The brand has evolved internationally as a platform between makers and the public since its establishment in 2012, and it has also secured partnerships with luxury brands Burberry and Selfridges.

Our Brief

The New Craftsmen approached us to help them strengthen their online presence, by developing a digital space which informs the customer of the brand’s unique story.

Building the site

In order to generate a seamless user experience both online and offline, we chose to build the website on Magento 2. Combined with this choice of platform, we included an ERP system, CIN.7.com, to enable maintenance of the pricing process and order management.

Bringing creators to the forefront

At the heart of The New Craftsman is provenance; therefore we sought to bring the creators to the forefront of the brand.

We incorporated captivating imagery into a digital storytelling feature to engage customers in a unique brand experience, explaining the creative process from start to finish.
